my second ulta marathon 22 nov 2015

second ultra 50 km
when i did first ultra of life on 7 th nov2015 bangalore 50 km instead of 75 km i was  frustrated that i am loser and failure  that i didnt complete 75 km and i quit at 50 km and with walking only i finish 50 km in 9 hrs and 13 min then i have decided that i will do next ultra on 22 nd  nov with gap of 15 days.
i want to challenge myself that i can do it or not.
ideally its not advisable.atleast 15 days rest  required.i tried that in last 15 days once i pedalled 72 km otherwise i just walk and run only 5 km.
sanjiv razdan ji aur vijay sohni ji aur baki friends ne bhi samjhane ki koshish ki.
mere man me 15 din se ek hi target chal raha tha 22 nov ko 50 km karna hai even mujhe do teen bar sapne aa chuke the .sapne me ek bar 6 hrs me 50 k kar diya tha.
i am writing this because everyone take lesson from my blog that if u think about any big target u just think about 24 hrs definitely u will do it.actually 15 din se me mere mind ko train kar raha tha aur usaka hi fayda hua ki me 50 km kar paya .
will power
mental toughness
r more important than ur training .ur body power.
if ur not mentally tough and trained well even then u could not complete any difficult target.
running after 30 km body se nahi brain se ki jati hai 35 km ke bad mere toes me severe pain ho raha tha .avnish upadhyaya ji ne bhi samjhaya ki 42 km karke chhod do .maine kaha 42 km to hone do .
small small target bana kar running karna chahiye .
morning me 3.54 am par running start ki.at that time i was alone in davv campus .maine apne man ko samjhaya aur run karna chalu kiya pahale 5 km kiya fir 8 km kiya.i conviced my  brain that after 10km u will get 5 star toffee and banana then i plan i should keep pace 8 km per hr so in 2 hrs 16 km completed.
then i planned in 3 hrs 24 km .it also happen.
then i was happy that i can do it 26 km in next 4 hrs.
on 21 nov and before that i was having pain in right i was very feared how can i will complete 50 km with heel pain.i was in mood that i should declared my wife hema and group member that i could not try 50 k because of pain and tenderness in heel.
i hide fact otherwise everyone will try to stop me to doing 50 k.
21 nov i ate 5 chapati dal rice.curd rice
1 plate each.i ate double diet .i slept at 10.30 pm and woke up at 2.45 am .i got best wishes from sanjiv razdan ji and harish karda .i prepared my self before 3.35 am i have to leave home.i took 750 ml water and took one lemonade 300 ml 1 banana
i reached University 3.53 am .i didnt do stretching and start running after 30 min i feel hungry i ate first time two 5star   chocolate and one banana.
i nutrition and hydration is very important in marathon and ultra marathon .
 i prepared my fluid with only 1 pack of electrol in 1 litre water
no extra salt sugar and lemon and protein added
previously i used to make fluid with Ors whey protein salt sugar
yesterday event i drink 2 litres Ors water
10 bars of 5 star 10 gm each means 100 gms is equal to 400 cal.
i took 4 bananas 800 cal
and with Ors soln 52 kcal per litre 104 kcal
50 km i expend 4000 cal and i took 1300 cal .so i was dehydrated .i took 500 ml milk also .2 kg wt reduced because of dehydration which recover today
i am thankful to my all friends who run with me and motivated me to complete my second ultra

my TomTom watch stopped at 49.75 km with zero battery.
i did mild stretching for 2 to 3 min .i remove my shoes and barefoot i went to clinic i saw a patient .i climb stair  with difficulty.moderate to severe soreness was there in whole lower limb .i took hot water bath and  go to bed and take rest 1 pm to 4 pm .when pain start subsiding i took my wt .68.9 kg instead of 71 kg.
i immediately ate dal bafla dal chawal and 250 ml curd .after 7 pm i recover from pain.today morning there was mild ache so i walked 6 km in 1 hr
i didnt took whey protein today in morning pre or during or post marathon.
i took protein 15 gm in 250 ml milk at 7 pm
